Hello RNE Team!!!
I have some exciting topics to discuss with our Team of Nurses.
- First of all, I want to announce RNE University! The demand for excellent Infusion Nurses is extremely high, but 95% of our Nurse applicants are NOT qualified. We have hundreds of applications every month and only hire 5%. So, we are putting together a training program to assist Nurses trying to transition from the hospital to Home Infusion Therapy. We are interviewing for a National Nurse Educator who will be the Dean of the University, and this person will need a Team of professors to help facilitate. If you are interested in any part of this project, please email [email protected].
- Let us know if you are attending any conferences this year, such as NHIA, INS, or IgNS. Specifically, at the INS Conference in Louisville, KY April 11-14, we need representation. If you are already planning to attend to retain your CRNI certification, we may be able to cover some of the costs if you are willing to help. Again, if you are interested, email [email protected].
- Many Nurses have been asking for a Regional List of your fellow Nurses to help coordinate patient care. If you do NOT want to be on any list, please let us know. Otherwise, we may put out a regional directory. We ask that you tell us if you make any changes to the schedule or switch any Nurse assignments. Stand by for this information.
- Look out for an upcoming Zoom call where we will hold a Clinical Power Hour to introduce our Nurse Manager Liaisons and some of our Admin staff, including me. We can put a face to a name if you were not able to attend our Holiday Party.
- Start of Care (SOC) paperwork can now be done in NursePlexus, so we stopped sending out PandaDocs. A Medication Profile needs to be completed upon Admission and at least yearly. As a back-up, every patient should have a Blue Folder which also has all of the required documents to be signed. Please let our Office know of you need more SOC folders.
- Tax season is upon us. If you have not been paying into the system, you may be pleasantly surprised to see what you owe the IRS. Let us know if you need help. Setting up an LLC may be a good option for you. We can put you in touch with a good accountant, if needed.
Thank you again for being the Best Team of Infusion Nurses in the country! -rgbc
